Matchday accreditation
The application deadline for weekend matches is Monday at 15:00 CET.
The deadline for midweek matches is Tuesday at 15:00 CET of the week before the game.
Applications made after these deadlines can no longer be considered.
(!) Please keep your accreditation visible at all times when inside the stadium. Your designated place in the stadium’s media section will be noted on your accreditation.
Collecting accreditation: Confirmed accreditation/work cards can be picked up on the day of the match by presenting your press pass at the media office, which is located to the right of the main entrance (opposite the stadium forecourt, at the entrance marked "Stadionführungen").
(!) Accreditation for Champions League games must be applied for separately and will be available for selection in the drop-down menu.
Bibs for pitchside accreditation can be collected from the media office (to the right of the main entrance) upon receipt of a deposit and are to be returned to the same office. Please use the side entrances in the underground car park to access the pitchside photographers’ work stations. You must be in place approximately ten minutes before kick-off.
You will be able to take photos of the coaches in front of the dugout right up until the coin toss before the match. Then we ask you to please return to your places behind the advertising boards. You are not allowed to enter the field of play before, during, or after the match!
(!) All freelance photographers must confirmed upon application for accreditation that they have liability insurance and must be able to provide proof if necessary.
Please email any queries to media.rbleipzig@redbulls.com.
A wifi connection is available in the media workroom as well as in the media stand. You will receive the login details with your accreditation. Should you require a LAN connection, an ISDN connection or have any other technical needs, please let us know when you apply for the accreditation.
The press conference room is located next to the media workroom, and can be accessed via the lift to the media office (level 1).
The media stand and media workroom can be accessed via the right side of the main entrance to the Red Bull Arena (Straße ‘Am Sportforum’, opposite the Stadionvorplatz).
The media stand for print and online media representatives can be reached via the lift from the media office on level 5. Then follow the signs to Block 19. The seats are numbered and your seat number will be stated on your accreditation ticket.
The media workroom can be accessed via the media office. All media areas are open two hours before the match and two hours after the match. Free WiFi is available in all media areas.
The press conference always takes place roughly 15-20 minutes after the final whistle. Should you wish to be present at the press conference, we suggest that you leave the media stand swiftly at the end of the game.
