The home run continues! The Roten Bullen defeat Werder Bremen 2-0 to record their sixth consecutive Bundesliga victory at the Red Bull Arena.
Leipzig were in control of the game and took a two-goal lead thanks to goals from Marcel Sabitzer (penalty, 26’) and Dani Olmo (41’). The team failed to take all of their chances and allowed Bremen hope of picking up points right until the end. However, the visitors did not pose any real threat in front of goal.
A successful week comes to an end with three more points, and the Roten Bullen now sit on 24 points after 11 games in the Bundesliga.
