2-1 win over Hertha BSC

Home victory against Hertha! RB Leipzig defeated the capital club on Matchday 5 with a 2-1 scoreline and stay top of the table with four wins.
 
Hertha BSC took the lead through Jhon Cordoba in the eigth minute, Dayot Upamecano replied just three minutes later. In addition to the superiority on the pitch (68 percent possession) RBL were further advantaged when Hertha's Deyovaisio Zeefuik received his second yellow card in the 50th minute. 
 
The man advantage paid off in the 77th minute when Marcel Sabitzer converted a penalty which turned out to be the winning goal after Willi Orban was fouled in the area.
 
Three games, three wins – a busy yet successful week comes to an end.

31st minute: Some good dribbling from Emil Forsberg, who drives forward from the right and fires a left-footed shot towards goal, but Schwolow is equal to it. The final chance of the match also falls to our number 10 - Sørloth plays the ball in but Forsberg fires over the bar (43').

48th minute: Hertha continue to look for the quick counter attack, and this time it's Cunha on the break. Gulácsi saves with his feet.

50th minute: Hertha's half-time substitute Deyovaisio Zeefuik fouls Nkunku twice and receives two yellow cards. Nkunku has the next chance for RBL, but sees his shot deflected by Omar Alderete.

65th minute: Leipzig are in control but are unable to find the second goal. The head coach makes three changes: firstly Dani Olmo and Yussuf Poulsen (65') enter the pitch, followed by Marcel Sabitzer (69').

77th minute: GOOAAL FOR RBL! Sabitzer from the bench! Willi Orban drives into the box and is brought down by Cordoba. Marcel Sabitzer puts the resulting penalty in the bottom right corner to give RBL the lead..

Full time: No third goal for RBL, but still three points. The boys showed commitment and quality to overcome a resilient Hertha side and can travel to Manchester full of pride.
