What a crazy game! What a comeback! RB Leipzig turn the game completely against Borussia Mönchengladbach and pick up a 3-2 home win after being down 2-0 at half time.
Gladbach stood deep and were well-positioned in defence. In attack, the visitors were efficient and took a 2-0 lead through a Jonas Hofmann penalty (5') and a deflected header from Marcus Thuram (19'), Despite Leipzig dominance, the first half ended with the away side two goals to the good.
Leipzig continued controlling in the second half, Christopher Nkunku scored the first goal (57') before Yussuf Poulsen equalised nine minutes later. The Bulls looked for the winner until the very end, with Emil Forsberg (free kick against the crossbar) and Dani Olmo (83') having the best chances. In stoppage time, the lead finally came, Alexander Sørloth heading in an Nkunku cross at the back post to make the score 3-2 (90'+3).
