International break: Dani Olmo and Spain stun Germany

14 players have been called up to represent their countries | Dayot Upamecano, Marcel Halstenberg, Lukas Klostermann and Konrad Laimer miss out due to injury | Here's our round-up of all the international fixtures

The next international break is here. 14 bulls have been called up for international duty: Péter Gulácsi, Willi Orban, Marcel Sabitzer, Hee-chan Hwang, Emil Forsberg, Amadou Haidara, Dani Olmo, Alexander Sørloth, Yussuf Poulsen, Benny Henrichs, Tyler Adams, Ibrahima Konaté, Josep Martínez and Justin Kluivert.

Dayot Upamecano (France), Marcel Halstenberg and Lukas Klostermann (both Germany) as well as Konrad Laimer (Austria) are missing due to injury.

 Player update: 

  • Dayot Upamecano (muscle strain), Nordi Mukiele and Marcel Halstenberg (both muscular issues) returned to individual training on Tuesday. 
  • Willi Orban is also dealing with a muscle issue, but will return to team training this week, depending on the progress of his recovery. 
  • Tyler Adams, Josep Martínez, Ibrahima Konaté, Emil Forsberg, Hee-chan Hwang, Dani Olmo, Benjamin Henrichs, Marcel Sabitzer, Yussuf Poulsen and Justin Kluivert will all be tested for Covid-19 immediately upon their return to Leipzig. If they test negative, they will be able to return to team training on Thursday and/or Friday. 
  • Péter Gulácsi and Amadou Haidara tested negative upon their return to Leipzig and can immediately return to team training. 
  • Alexander Sørloth can return to team training on Wednesday. After returning from international duty with Norway, he entered into quarantine as a precaution before testing negative for Covid-19. He has now been permitted to end his quarantine and, in cooperation with the local health authorities, will continue to be tested regularly.
