Our head coach has been nominated for UEFA Men’s Coach of the Year. The shortlist was published today, and Nagelsmann is alongside Hansi Flick (FC Bayern Munich) and Jürgen Klopp (Liverpool). The winner will be announced at the draw for the group stages of this year’s Champions League on 1st October in Nyon.

The three head coaches were selected by a panel that consisted of the 80 managers that took part in last season’s competition as well as 55 journalists.

Julian Nagelsmann led die Roten Bullen to the semi-final of last season’s Champions League. Remarkably, he’s the youngest coach to win a knockout game in the competition.
