Victory in top-of-the-table clash! The Roten Bullen enjoyed a 2-0 victory away at FC Augsburg on Matchday 4 and remain league leaders iafter picking up three points in Bavaria.
With almost 70 percent possession and a 6 shots to one, RBL dominated the first half but were able to break down the resilient home side, finding it difficult to create clear chances. Attacks down the flanks as well as thruogh the middle were unsuccessful in breaking the deadlock. In the 45th minute, it was Angelino who opened the scoring after some fantastic individual work from Dani Olmo, heading home at the far post.
Leipzig kept the pressure on after the break as they looked to increase the lead. Augsburg's defense made this no simple task however. With the introduction of Yussuf Poulsen came the second goal, ehich wrapped up the game for Leipzig! With his first touch of the game, Yussi volleyed the ball into the back of the net from some distance.
The victory marked a club record - as the club has now gone nine away league matches without defeat!
