1-1 in Leverkusen! Nkunku gets the equaliser

RBL had a half dozen great chances | Volland put B04 in front (66') | Nkunku equalises with a stunner (78') | Schick given RB Leipzig debut

A point in Leverkusen! RB Leipzig share the points with Bayer 04 Leverkusen. We'll take a point but three were definitely on the table.

The game produced fireworks right from the off with chances for both sides. RB Leipzig themselves had six huge chances, the best of which feel to Matheus Cunha (4', 29') and Timo Werner (16',26'). Leverkusen could only count themselves lucky to go in to the break at 0-0.

After half time, the game became less of a spectacle. The home side kept the ball, RBL got out on the break. In the 66th minute however, Bayer 04 broke through and scored through Kevin Volland to make it 1-0. But RBL wouldn't lie down and got the equaliser through Christopher Nkunku's dream goal. Leverkusen had an unbelievable chnance to win it in added time but Peter Gulacsi stood in their way.
