It finishes level! The Bulls were unable to bring VfL Wolfsburg's unbeaten run to an end and had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

The 39,182 fans who made the trip to the Red Bull Arena saw an intense match between two strong teams. RBL saw a lot more of the ball but only created a few chances in the first half.

However, Timo Werner gave the fans cause for celebration not long after the break, latching on to a long ball from Péter Gulácsi before rounding the Wolfsburg keeper and slotting the ball into the back of the net to make it 1-0 (54'). The game was tense and tight but the Wolves eventually equalised through Wout Weghorst (82'). Despite their best efforts, the Leipzig boys were unable to find a late winner.
