Another win on the road! The Bulls continued their winning streak with a 4-2 win against Hertha BSC. That makes it four wins from four in this fixture!
RBL were in control of the game right from the start and both Yussuf Poulsen and Timo Werner had chances to make the breakthrough. Nevertheless, it was the hosts who took the lead courtesy of a powerful strike from range by Maximilian Mittelstädt (32'). Julian Nagelsmann's team kept their cool and returned fire shortly after when Timo Werner converted a penalty awarded by VAR in clinical fashion (38'). Poulsen then set up Marcel Sabitzer just before the break and the Austria international found the back of the net with the help of a defelction to make it 2-1 (45+1').
The second half was a rather scrappy affair at times. The boys were perhaps a bit tired from the recent double game weeks. Hertha didn't really threten going forward, either. Then, in the closing stages, the game really came back to life. First, Kevin Kampl socred a lovely individual goal to make it 3-1 (86'), and then Konrad Laimer put it on a plate for Timo Werner to score his second of the game (90+1). Finally, Davie Selke pulled one back for the hosts right at the death to make it 4-2 (90+2). The Bulls deserved the win!
