The draw for the DFB-Pokal second round is complete! Christoph Metzelder and Germany U21s coach Stefan Kuntz pulled the names out of the hat at the German Football Museum in Dortmund on Sunday evening and paired RB Leipzig with VfL Wolfsburg in the next round.
Wolfsburg earned their place in the second round after a nervy game against 3. Liga side Hallescher FC. After a late Halle goal made it 3-3 and forced extra time, the Bundesliga outfit came out on top, scoring twice early in the added period to secure a 5-3 win. Leipzig, meanwhile, saw off VfL Osnabrück 3-2 in the first round.
The tie will take place at the Wolves' Volkswagen Arena on either Tuesday or Wednesday night on 29th/30th October.
