Leipzig are through to the quarterfinals!

Marcel Sabitzer (10', 21') and Emil Forsberg (87') make it a 4-0 aggregate win | 41,146 fans in attendance | Quarterfinal draw on 20th March

We are through to the quarterfinals! After a fantastic performance, the Bulls deservedly beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 on the night.

Leipzig started so well, driven on by a fantastic atmosphere inside the Red Bull Arena. RBL took the lead in tenth minute through captain Marcel Sabitzer, who doubled Leipzig's lead just over ten minutes later.

In the second half, the Arena held its breath as Nordi Mukiele was struck in the face by the ball and had to be stretchered off. Get well soon, Nordi!

With the two goal lead behind them, Leipzig controlled the second half and emplyed a low block to limit Tottenham's chances. Subsitute Emil Forsberg scored with his first touch to cap off a great night.

10': What a start! Konrad Laimer has a lot of space down the right and plays in Timo Werner. His shot is blocked, but falls to the German's feet. Werner keeps calm and plays it to Sabitzer, who fires home from outside the box. Hugo Lloris got to it, but couldn't keep it out. 1-0!

18':First sign of life Tottenham! Serge Aurier middles it dangerously, Dayot Upamecano clears before Lucas Moura can pounce.

19': Celebrations cut short. Angeliño is found by Nordi Mukiele down the left wing. His ball in is tapped home by Werner, who was flagged for offside.

21': The captain again! Sabitzer gets a double! Laimer plays a brilliant pass down the left to Angeliño. The Spaniard crosses to Sabitzer, who heads it home. Lloris had no chance. 2-0.

45': Leipzig go into the break with a three goal aggregate lead.

54': Mukiele gets hit in the face with the ball and has to be subbed off. Tyler Adams came on to replace him. Get well soon, Nordi!

86': Standing ovation for Sabitzer. The matchwinner is subbed off to resounding applause from the home fans. Emil Forsberg comes on to replace the Austrian.

87': Forsberg has an instant impact. Angeliño plays it through to Schick but his pass takes a deflection and falls to Adams, whose shot is then blocked. Forsberg uses his first touch of the game to make it 3-0.
