The international break is over! 18 RBL players in total were away with their national teammates. Timo Werner, Lukas Klostermann and Marcel Halstenberg suffered a defeat against the Netherlands but celebrated a victory against Northern Ireland.

15 Leipzig players made international appearances, scoring a combined total of 8 goals, including Marcel Halstenberg's wonder goal to open the scoring against Northern Ireland. Schick and Forsberg also found the back of the net. 

Konrad Laimer and Marcel Sabitzer marked impressive performances with goals and assists. Likewise, Matheus Cunha scored three goals and set up another.

    All three RBL players were handed starts, while Marcel Halstenberg opened the scoring in the 48th minute with a stunning volley.

    Marcel Sabitzer made it 2-0 with a brilliant stiker, assisted by Konrad Laimer, who also got on the scoresheet. Stefan Ilsanker came on in the 75th minute and immediately forced an own goal.
