"It wasn't easy, but it was a deserved win!"

+3 points! Julian Nagelsmann, Patrik Schick, Konrad Laimer and Péter Gulácsi give their thoughts on the 4-2 win in Cologne on matchday 29

Julian Nagelsmann:

  • "It was a strange game with lots of ups and downs. We were a bit sleepy before they scored. We didn't defend as well as we can. Overall, I think we could play better.

It's hard to summarise things at the moment. A win was important for the table. Coming from behind was important too. It wasn't easy, but we deserved to win."

Patrik Schick:

  • "It was another tough game tonight. It wasn't the start that we wanted. After that, we grew into the game and fought hard. At the end of the day, we're really happy with the three points."

Konrad Laimer:

  • "It didn't really have to be so tense. We went behind again, but we responded well and deservedly led at half time. Overall, we were dominant and deserved three points. Obviously we're annoyed that we conceded twice as well."

Péter Gulácsi:

  • "I've got mixed feelings about this game. We scored four goals away from home - that's great. But we conceded two, which is too many. We can't be totally pleased with our performance. After dropping two points to Hertha, it was important for us to take all three points tonight. And we did that."
