The DFL today decided that matchday 26 will no longer take place in the Bundesliga. Our home game against SC Freiburg has therefore been postponed.

+++ Press release from 11.03.2020 +++

Dear Bulls fans,

We regret to inform you that, due to the uncertainty surrounding the current situation with the coronavirus outbreak, Saturday's home fixture against SC Freiburg will be played behind closed doors.

CEO Oliver Mintzlaff:

"We sat down this morning and made the decision to play without fans due to the recent developments regarding the coronavirus. Even though the number of infected people in the Leipzig area is low, we still want to minimise the risks to people's health.

Another factor for our decision is that a number of other Bundesliga clubs have acted this way; we are helping to maintain the integerity of the competition by following suit.

I would like to thank city of Leipzig's public health department for their co-operation.

All ticket holders will receive the appropriate compensation, ensuring that our fans do not lose their money after this decision."
