Emil Forsberg becomes a Champions Teacher

To give everyone a daily break from teaching and studying in isolation, the UEFA Foundation for Children has invited some of European football's top players and coaches such as Emil Forsberg to become a Champions Teacher.

The UEFA Foundation for Children has invited stars such as Sweden and RB Leipzig forward Emil Forsberg to read a short excerpt from their favourite children's book or poem in order to enrich children's learning in these difficult times. The dictation exercise is designed for 6-12 year olds, with lessons available in English, French, Dutch and Spanish.

"Hi everybody, my name is Emil Forsberg and I'm a player from RB Leipzig. I'm very happy to be your Champions Teacher today," the 28-year-old introduced himself to begin his lesson. The midfielder chose to read an exerpt from Pippi Longstocking for his e-dictation lesson, a text which, "meant a lot" when he was a young child.

You can access Emil Forsberg's online lesson via the official UEFA website, as well additional lessons from France assistant coach Guy Stephan, Wolfsburg and Netherlands midfielder Dominique Bloodworth and Atletico Madrid's Spanish midfielder Amanda Sampedro.
