The initial fixture plan is here! The German Football Association (DFB) have offically announced the first schedule of the 2020/21 season.
The season begins between September 11th and 14th with the first round of the DFB-Pokal. The Bundesliga starts a week later with Matchday 1 falling between the dates of September 18th and September 21st.
The last competitive games of 2020 will take place with the second round of the DFB-Pokal, held over the days of December 22nd and 23rd. The last Bundesliga Matchday of the year will be held the weekend before (across the days of December 18th through to the 21st). After a short Christmas break, Matchday 14 will take place in the days between the 2nd and 4th of January 2021.
The DFB-Pokal final will take place in Berlin on May 13th, 2021. The Bundesliga season 2020/21 will end with Matchday 34, which will take place on May 22nd.
