On Matchday 6 of the Bundesliga season, Die Roten Bullen travel to the WIRSOL Rhein-Neckar-Arena to play TSG Hoffenheim, kicking off at 15:30 CEST.
Before the game, Coach Ralf Rangnick spoke about RBL's opponents as well as the current state of the squad.
"Hoffenheim will demand a lot from us. We want to play like we did against Stuttgart. Our aim is a clean sheet, which last game we showed we can get. We will approach the match with the same energy and concentration.
It's an interesting match, not only because of the current Bundesliga standings, but also because Julian Nagelsmann will be our coach next season. I'm looking forward to working with him, but before that I'm looking forward to tomorrow's game.
We've conceded quite a few times against Hoffenheim in recent seasons, as we weren't quick enough to react to losing the ball and we gave them too much space. Tomorrow, we want to change this. We have a good chance to win the match, providing we stay solid, like we did on Wednesday, and score some more goals."
The game comes too soon for Lukas Klostermann, who remains out due to a problem with this left knee.
Emil Forsberg will not travel due to an adductor problem.
Marcelo Saracchi has returned and is an option for the match.
