Die Roten Bullen continued their winning ways as they beat Hertha BSC 3-0. The RBL players put in a strong and spirited performance to take the three points, and are now undefeated in ten games.
Timo Werner proved to be the matchwinner again, having also netted twice in Wednesday's DFB-Pokal win over Hoffenheim, and scored goals 49 and 50 for the club in the process. It took just seven minutes for Werner to crack the Hertha defence open, and he doubled his match tally in the second half after great work from Bruma on the left flank. Matheus Cunha added a third and sealed the victory for RBL with a brilliant turn and shot from 20 yards.
Keeper Péter Gulácsi was in top form, making numerous saves to keep Die Roten Bullen in front. By winning 3-0, RBL have now kept six clean sheets in a row.
