"A draw is a fair result"

Ralf Rangnick, Timo Werner, Willi Orban and Diego Demme give their thoughts on Saturday's 0-0 draw with Augsburg.

RAlf Rangnick:

  • "It's a thoroughly deserved point. We had Augsburg's attack under control for the full 90 minutes, which is quite impressive when you consider that FCA have scored 14 goals already this season.

We had a couple of good chances, but we could even have ended up winning if we had had a little more spring in our step and precision going forward. Getting a goalless draw here is more than acceptable."

Timo Werner:

  • "It was hard to play football today. I think we can be satisfied with the point. It wasn't my best day, but that can happen. I hope to get on the ball more next time and score a goal."

Diego Demme:

  • "It was a high-intensity game. FCA made it hard for us to create chances. We will analyse today and then switch focus to Celtic. We can't wait for Thursday's match back at home."

Willi Orban:

  • "A clean sheet is always nice as a defender, but we obviously wanted to win. Neither side created much though, so I think a draw is a fair result."
