RBL through to Europa League group stage after 3-2 victory against Luhansk

Goals from Werner, Augustin and Forsberg secure victory | Draw for the group stage tomorrow at 13:00 (CEST)

RBL are into the Europa League group stage after an absolute thriller at the Red Bull Arena. Die Roten Bullen beat Ukranian team Zorya Luhansk 3-2, thanks to a last-minute penalty from Emil Forsberg.

After Timo Werner's early goal, RBL weren't able to keep up their initial pressure. Luhansk found space which they benefited from to equalise through Rafael Ratao.  This was a wake-up call for Die Roten Bullen and they quickly got going again, with Timo Werner hitting the bar from 20 yards out before the half ended.

Shortly afterthe second half began, the guests took the lead through Arten Gordiyenko's finish. RBL managed to reply 20 minutes later when Jean-Kévin Augustin latched on to Timo Werner's lob, making it 2-2. Die Roten Bullen threw the kitchen sink in the final stages and were rewarded for their effort with a late Emil Forsberg penalty to finish the game 3-2.

The result means that RBL are now through to the Europa League group stage. Die Roten Bullen will find out who their opponents are in tomorrow's draw at 13:00 (CEST).

After the 0-0 draw in the first leg, die Roten Bullen were looking for a win to get through to the Europa League group stage.
They took an early lead through Matheus Cunha in the 8th minute.
