Marius Müller has extended his contract at RB Leipzig by two years until 2021.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper arrived at the club from 1. FC Kaiserslautern in summer 2016, but spent the 2016/17 season on loan at the Red Devils. He is part of the first-team squad in this campaign and made his competitive debut for Die Roten Bullen in the Europa League second-leg fixture against BK Häcken.
Marius Müller:
- "I'm delighted to have extended my contract as I feel very much at home in the team and at the club. I want to develop further as a goalkeeper and fully believe Leipzig is the right place to do that. We will see if I can get more game time over the coming months. I back myself and believe I can be part successful future for this team."
Ralf Rangnick:
- "Marius has everything you need in a goalkeeper. He is full of desire and ambition and is always willing to put the work in. He identifies with the club and is a perfect fit for our goalkeeping team and the squad."
