„We want to cement our position in fourth!“

Coach Ralf Rangnick looks ahead to the home game against Eintracht Frankfurt | Kevin Kampl and Ibrahima Konaté unavailable

Frankfurt at home! On Saturday (15:30 CET), RB Leipzig will take on fifth placed Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.

Head coach Ralf Rangnick spoke to the press about the upcoming game and the availability of his players prior to the game.

Ralf Rangnick:

  • „Frankfurt are a team with enormous quality going forward. It will be very important for us to stay alert and defend well. We also have to make sure we use the spaces that become available when we win the ball back. It'll be interresing to see which team comes out on top. We're looking forward to tomorrow's game.

Mijat Gacinovic can turn defence into attack immediately, Sébastien Haller is very strong in the air and Luca Jovic can score goals out of nothing. Ante Rebic has developed really well in Frankfurt and has become one of the most interesting players in the Bundesliga.

We have the home advantage and the five point lead. If we win, it will be a massive jump clear of them - that's what we're striving for."
