Benno Schmitz has completed a move to 1. FC Köln. Our number 20 joined Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg in summer 2016 and was part of the side that finished as runners-up in the Bundesliga, securing Champions League qualification. Schmitz made a total of 19 competitive appearances for Die Roten Bulen.
