"One of our best games this season"

Ralph Hasenhüttl, Willi Orban, Kevin Kampl and Diego Demme give their thoughts after an historic 4-1 Champions League win in Monaco.

Ralph Hasenhüttl

"The boys did a great job again today and we can be proud of what we’ve achieved so far. We’ve got seven points on the board, which was not to be expected.

"I’m very happy with the second half in particular. It was a very composed performance by our standards. It’s a big step forward compared to our last match against Leverkusen. For me, it’s one of our best games this season."

Willi Orban

"It's an important step for our young back four to have played so well against such a strong attacking side. The whole team was focused and alert from the off - that was the key to victory. We made a big step in our overall development today; we've improved with every game and it's a pleasure to be able to play alongside these guys.

"We have another big match at home against Besiktas and we want to get the win. It's a shame that it's no longer in our hands and have to hope Monaco get something off Porto. Nevertheless, our aim is to end the group stage with ten points on the board."

Kevin Kampl

"We did exactly what the coach asked of us today; we worked together as a team, had a good pressing game and got our goals as a result.

"In the second half, we were very astute in the way we saw the game out and barely allowed Monaco any chances. We've got one final blockbuster at home against Besiktas and we will give our all. We're guaranteed to play European football next year anyway, which is amazing!"

Diego Demme

"We started the game really well. The early goals really removed the tension for us. We did what we had to do today and we'll look to do the same at home against Besiktas. That was our best Champions League game so far."
