"We played very well in the first half against a Frankfurt side that defended from deep. It was difficult but we still created chances. After half-time the game was more even and fast-paced. Eintracht offered more offensively and grew into the match after their substitutions.
"Frankurt's goal gave their players a lot of confidence, while we were rushed in front of goal and were unnecessarily hasty on the ball. All the same, we carried out our game plan as we had wanted. The victory is mentally important for us."
"It's very important that we take our chances when we are on the front foot and creating opportunities. We invested a lot into our past games without getting out what we put in. This time we've come away with three points and that gives us a lot of confidence for the next games. We need to recover quickly though, because our Champions League match is on Tuesday."
"We found our rhythm in the game very quickly. We dominated the match and were good on the ball. Defensively we didn't allow Frankfurt any space. The team kept it up for 60 or 70 minutes but Frankfurt really threw everything into the game to get the equaliser, though we were able to hang on and get the three points."
"Frankfurt were very compact defensively and didn't give us much space. We have to get used to the fact that many teams are going to line up like this against us. We can't have the attitude that our opponents are going to attack with vigour - except for maybe Dortmund, Hoffenheim and Bayern. We need to set ourselves up to suit our style of play."
