“It was simple – we had to be more attacking!”

Post-match reaction from Ralph Hasenhüttl, Willi Orban, Kevin Kampl and goalscorer Ademola Lookman after the 1-1 draw against SV Werder Bremen

Ralph Hasenhüttl:

“We tried to not let them in behind in the first half. We tried to play very defensively, but that's not our style and that was clear. We played more attackingly after the break and it paid off. We did that by making attacking substitutions.

It was a great game for the neutral. Both teams were desperate to win and either side could've clinched the winner, so a draw is okay.”

Willi Orban:

“The first half wasn’t good, but we showed a great reaction in the second half. We fought hard for the draw and it's a fair result.

There are no more midweek games for us, which means that we can turn all our attention to the upcoming Bundesliga games. We We need wins and we'll do all we can to get them.”

Ademola Lookman:

“I couldn't wait to come off the bench and score! Unfortunately we didn't manage to win.
The final push has now begun and we’re turning all our attention to the last four games. Our goal is to win every game and create lots of chances.”

Kevin Kampl:

“A point is a decent result and we’ll happily take it. We couldn't get a grip on the game in the first half, but we could've won in the second half because we played the way we wanted to.
We have to give our all in the remaining four #Bundesliga games, believe in ourselves and fight until the end!”
