Die Roten Bullen on the road again
After Thursday’s fantastic win in Napoli, Ralph Hasenhüttl takes his side on their travels again tomorrow night, with a trip to Eintracht Frankfurt next up in the Bundesliga on matchday 23.
Hasenhüttl addressed the media on Sunday ahead of the clash.
Thoughts from Ralph Hasenhüttl
“Frankfurt are having a great season and totally deserve to be where they are in the table. They are making a good impression. They have a good group of players, as well experience from the likes of Kevin-Prince Boateng. I am therefore expecting a high quality game between two top teams, who have been compact of late are in form.”
“They work just as hard off the ball as they do on it and Nico’s team always has a clear plan. Our meetings till now have been very tight and I think Monday’s game will be settled on the fine details too. We’ll have to be particularly on our guard from set pieces.”
"The whole squad came through the game against Napoli unscathed. Everyone trained yesterday and they will all be available for Monday." Emil Forsberg came through the game in the week well, and was able to train fully with the team afterwards. That's a good sign. We'll now build him up one step at a time."
Squad update
Ralph Hasenhüttl will be able to choose fromk a near fully-fit squad for the game in Frankfurt. Only Marcel Halstenberg (ACL) remains out injured.
