New Striker: Matheus Cunha signs for RB Leipzig

The 19-year-old Brazilian forward arrives from Swiss top-flight club FC Sion on a five year deal.

Attacking support! Brazilian youngster Matheus Cunha becomes RB Leipzig’s third summer signing. The 19-year-old transfers from Swiss first division side FC Sion on a five year deal until June 2023.

In the summer of 2017, the striker moved from his Brazilian youth club Coritiba FC U20 to Super League club FC Sion. Last season he made 29 league appearances, with ten goals and eight assists to his name.
